Doug is an experienced real estate executive who brings over 30 years of experience in large-scale private and public sector real estate organizations. Doug's career includes his roles as Special Advisor Real Property to the Deputy Minister of Public Works and Government Services Canada, advisor to Macquarie Bank, Chairman of Nexacor, President of CN Real Estate and Chief Operating Officer of Hammerson Canada. His areas of expertise include operational reviews, public sector procurement, property and facilities management (including outsourcing) and the development, acquisition and disposition, and operation of real estate. Doug has been responsible for the development of a number of office buildings, both midrise and high rise. He has been involved with over $5 billion of asset transactions in a variety of deal structures including sale/ leaseback, joint ventures, outright disposition, and capital leases.
Bill McCurdy, Principal

Bill has over 30 years of experience in the development, operations and financing of real estate gained through his position as Senior Vice President and Director of KPMG Corporate Finance Inc. and as the Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking for a large financial institution with a $4.5 billion portfolio of loans, conventional commercial mortgages, participating mortgages and joint venture financing. Bill's has a deep understanding and analysis of public and private sector approaches to acquire or dispose of real property through the RFQ and RFP process. He has expertise in developing and applying appropriate financial evaluation criteria as well as performing detailed financial analysis and complex modeling in support of business cases and valuations.
